Gathering Around Knowledge: Traditional Fire Keeping

Our students had a meaningful opportunity to learn from our Indigenous Language and Culture Teacher, Danikka Murphy, during an outdoor learning session focused on the traditional practice of fire keeping.

Gathered outside in a natural learning environment, students listened as she shared her knowledge about the importance of fire in Indigenous cultures.
